Ricardo Andrez, a graduate in Fashion Design from Cooperativa Árvore and Citex Porto (now Modatex), explores images and products with the guiding principle: To think fashion is to think the body. He launched his brand in 2009, and since then has been reinterpreting sportswear and streetwear.
In 2008 and 2009, he showcased his work at Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week, Barcelona Fashion Week, and ModaFad (Barcelona). In March 2010, he joined the official calendar of ModaLisboa, where he began to present his collections seasonally.
He has developed projects for several brands, including BBraune, Eureka, and more recently Lidl Portugal.
Throughout his career, Ricardo Andrez has received several awards, notably the Best Collection prize at PasaFad, ModaFad/Book, Barcelona; the Silver Boot at MMM Munich Boqueria, Barcelona; and the Best Emerging Menswear Designer 09 award in Portugal.
In January 2013, he won the Who’s Next Paris competition in the Menswear category.
