With over forty years of professional experience developed across Brazil and Canada, Celso Stifelmann is an architect specialised in new construction, renovation, interior design, project management and urban planning. His education was complemented by the attainment of a Master of Architecture degree (M.Arch).
His career was begun in Brazil, where a private firm dedicated to architecture and interior design was operated for more than twenty years. Twenty-five years ago, his residence was transferred to Canada, where the position of partner at Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership was subsequently attained — a firm in which leadership roles were performed over eighteen years (2005–2022). During that period, projects of considerable complexity and responsibility were conducted, particularly in the fields of urban planning, shopping centres, mixed-use developments and residential buildings.
In 2021, the firm Celso Stifelmann Architect Inc. was established, through which professional practice continued to be carried out independently. Throughout his career, large-scale master plans, shopping centre redevelopment projects and numerous institutional, commercial and residential buildings were developed across British Columbia, Alberta and Washington State.
The focus of his career has always been directed towards community-oriented projects, contract management and the delivery of projects within established schedules and budgets. He is registered with the Architecture Council in Brazil and with the professional bodies of two Canadian provinces — Alberta and British Columbia — and the registration process with the Order of Architects in Portugal is currently underway.
His residence has recently been relocated to Lisbon, where he seeks to collaborate with a company that values accumulated experience in the architecture and construction industry, on a full-time, part-time, contract or consultancy basis.
