Gianluca Emmi is an Italian architect who holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Catania (Italy) and dual PhDs—one in Architecture from La Sapienza University in Rome and another in Urban Design from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain).
Since 2013, Gianluca has been teaching at the university level worldwide. He has organised and led workshops, including in Porto, Istanbul, China, and Canada, that explore contemporary architectural and urban design challenges, contributing to the advancement of the field. His research has been published in numerous scientific journals, and he has contributed chapters to several books.
Alongside his academic career, Gianluca works as a freelance architect, where he continues applying his expertise in architecture and urban design.
