With a career spanning over four decades dedicated to garment making and pattern making, Filomena Catão is a dressmaker with extensive experience in the textile sector. She began her professional journey in various garment factories in northern and central Portugal, where she developed specialized technical skills in pattern making, cutting, and industrial garment production.
Currently, she is responsible for the bespoke garment department in her atelier, where she applies her technical knowledge to the development of high-quality, precision-made pieces.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a constant commitment to technical improvement and the appreciation of artisanal work, contributing significantly to the preservation and transmission of traditional knowledge in the field of garment making and pattern making.
