Director and editor since 2009, when he made his debut with the film Conferência, winner of the Young Creators Award. A graduate of ESMAE, he has primarily worked in the fields of documentary cinema, experimental film, music, and theater.
He participated in the European Capitals of Culture in Vilnius and Guimarães with documentaries of his own and was a finalist in the Inov-Art program in Mozambique, where he produced and directed his first feature-length documentary, Casa Velha. As part of his master's work at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, he presented the short film Silêncios. Both films have been showcased nationally and internationally across festivals, platforms, and television channels.
He teaches in the Film, Video, and Multimedia departments of various institutions and is currently beginning his PhD in Performing Arts and Moving Image. Founder of two film clubs and projectionist for seminars and festivals, he is passionate about organizing cinephile movements in associative and community contexts.
