Catarina Serra, a Fashion Design graduate from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, developed a career marked by creative versatility and experience in various areas of the fashion industry from an early age.
She began her career with collaborations in styling, creative direction, and illustration, notably in projects for ModaLisboa, Lucy's Magazine, and Face Models Agency, as well as fashion illustrations presented in exhibitions.
In 2021, her REW–Resilience collection was selected to be part of Portugal Fashion's Bloom platform, dedicated to young designers. Shortly thereafter, she joined Sacoor Brothers as a Fashion Designer, where she developed menswear and womenswear collections, closely monitoring international suppliers, production processes, and trend research at trade shows such as Pitti Uomo in Florence. Her career also included Guess (Marciano), where she created fashion illustrations, and Fremantle, as a costume designer for the SIC program A Máscara.
More recently, she took on the role of Head of Marketing & Production at KLEED, coordinating creative teams and the development of luxury collections.
Currently, Catarina is the founder of two brands: her affordable luxury fashion label MAZEJO and Serra Fashion Consultancy, a creative consulting agency specializing in supporting new brands and entrepreneurs in building identity and branding, collection design, creative direction, and marketing strategies. She also works as a consultant and mentor for various fashion projects and brands, combining creative vision, technical knowledge of the market and national suppliers, and strategic thinking.
With over six years of experience in the field, Catarina has established herself as a professional who combines design, branding, and creative direction, inspiring new generations of designers to build fashion brands from scratch and understand all stages of the creative and production process.
